Head Coach & Owner - Coach Celia Dubey - I have always loved being active and playing sports like basketball, volleyball, soccer, & tennis. It was not until after college in 1995 when I ran my first 5K that I found my passion for running. In 1999 after a knee injury my orthopedic surgeon recommended I take up triathlon as the cross training could benefit me and I have been hooked ever since. I love the social aspect the most of training as I have made true life long friends in this sport who inspire me every day to be a better athlete and person. After many years of working sales and management in the wireless communication industry, I left corporate America and used my entire 401K savings as a down payment to buy Total Fitness Health Club & Spa. I am now living my dream to own and run a health club. I do all the marketing, programming, and manage the day to day operations of the club. I get to teach fun group exercise classes, I get to train clients privately whether their goal is to lose weight, do their first triathlon or become a world champion triathlete. I won the husband lottery, as my husband, Joel is my biggest supporter and is there for me every race cheering me on and helping me in any way he can.

Coach Mike MacDonald joined the RunVie Racing Coaching Staff in 2015 and has been a huge help to all of the athletes. He is also a middle school teacher at East Lake Middle School. Coach MIke has been running for 6 years and only started running to get in shape after he 'ballooned' after college. He has lost over 70 lbs as a result of changing his lifestyle in 2010 and has worked hard to keep it off by developing healthy lifestyle (which is a feat he is very proud of). All of his hard work has paid off, in 2015 he won the Best Damn Race Orlando Half Marathon, Orange Blossom Half Marathon, Florida Road Races Halloween Half, Safety Harbor Best Damn Race Half Marathon, and too many 5k's to name. He is one of the fastest athletes in the area, and around the country. He has a passion for coaching, running, being healthy, and helping other improve. We are proud to have him on the coaching staff!
Coaches Dan & Joette Bergeson started RunVie Racing in 2009 from their love of running and triathlon. In 2015 they moved to Chcago for Joette's "day job", but they remain active consultants to the team and are the biggests fans of the athletes and program. Coaches Dan & Joette are USA Triathlon, Road Runners Club of America (RRCA), and Team in Training Coach certified, and CPR and First Aid certified.
Coach Dan has been running competitively for over 40 years. Dan has competed in running races, duathlons, and triathlons around the world including the US National Duathlon Championships and the Powerman Worlds in Switzerland. Dan has race numerous ITU World Duathlon Championships around the World in Spain, France, and Canada. Dan earned the Silver Medal in the 2014 USAT Duathlon National Championships.. Dan has consistently been named to the All American Duathlon team and All American USA Track & Field. He works hard at perfecting his own training schedule and his efforts are apparent in his race times and USAT All American status.
Coach Joette has been running for over 25 years and began marathon racing in 2002. She has completed 10 marathons and countless half marathons and short-course races. Joette has raced triathlon events of all distances up to 70.3. Joette raced in the ITU World Duathlon Championship in Spain and Canada and placed 5th in the USAT Duathlon National Championships in 2014. Since changing her nutrition/diet in 2014 she has consistently been placing in her age group or Overall Masters and breaking her personal PR in the 5k and half marathon distance. Joette believes that the goal to competing and training is to be better than you were yesterday
The Coaches of RunVie Racing Powered by Total Fitness have expertise executing both short (5k, sprint) and long (marathon, 70.3, Ironman) training programs. They have worked with both experienced athletes helping them to define their goals, improve their pace, and achieve their aspirations; and with beginning athletes helping them to develop their form, learn their pace, and achieve their dream. We have worked with athletes of all ages from 12 years to 74 years.
Our training programs focus on the core components of training and teaches not only how to train and how many miles to train, but the importance of nutrition, gear, shoes, stretching, etc. You will learn the fundamentals you need to be successful at achieving your goals!

Our company was built out of our love of running and living a healthy lifestyle. Our mission is to bring running and triathlon to people who don't think they can run, assist athletes who want to improve within their sport, and offer training to those who fall in the middle. We are certified USA Triathlon Level 1 Coaches, Road Runners Association of America Coaches, and Team in Training Coaches. We are CPR certified for your safety.
